Actually, wrong. We saw two Tobis. One was sitting on the Madara Uchiha statue in Final Valley, and the other one was fighting Naruto and the others.
One is Madara, yes, but the one fighting Naruto and the others is Obito Uchiha.
Also, if you don't know who Konan, Yahiko, and Nagato are, they were mentioned in the fight between Jiraiya and Pain. You may need to see the whole fight again to know that.

Pain is actually Minato Namikaze, AKA the fourth Hokage, AKA Naruto's dad.

Actually, you find out who he is on the episode that Jiraiya dies, you just have to think about it. I guess that's why you thought I spoiled it for you.

Minato Namikaze, the fourth Hokage, was the only one who read the book Jiraiya wrote during the Great Ninja Wars. The six Pains look almost exactly like the people he met during the Great Ninja Wars. How Minato found out what they looked like, I'll never know, but I surmise he used some type of forbidden jutsu, and recreated them, but changed a little bit of their physical features. I also don't know how he got the Rinnegan eyes, but somehow, he did. That's all the information I remember.

I'm still unsure about that. Madara formed the Akatsuki, but on one episode, he told Pain that "It's your duty as leader to 'bla bla bla'."
