I actually can see what they are trying to do.

They think that by keeping the game I'll put even more effort into preparing for the test.

Which is not necessarily a bad idea, but doesn't always work. There truly is a limit as to how much you can prepare before extra preparation is useless.

So it's like a double-edged sword.......

Exactly.

Actually, right now, I still have the game currently, so I HOPE to play it while my parents are gone for Valentine's Day; but if they take it before that day, then I'm screwed.

Don't get your hope's up. Stuff usually goes awry on that damn day.

By the way, I noticed NG decreased their comment character limit.

It used to be 8,192 characters, but now it's 2,400.

It's still 8,192 for me.

Y'know, when you comment here with a different profile, it kinds feels like a different part of your mind is talkin to me.

Well it says 2,400 characters right here:

http://tempupload.ngfiles.com/3188320 _2400_Characters.png

Also I've been doing some account maintenance on SMBS like I mentioned in the front news post, which is why I was changing accounts a lot.

I'll try logging in as you and see if it says 8,192.

Oh. I must've meant when I replied to comments. Sorry.

It still says 2,400 as you.

I guess NG decreased the limit due to the MASSIVE amount of spam that user pages are getting.

Hm.

BTW I did deposit for you in case you were panicking that you forgot to deposit for today.

Thanks, man. I couldn't get on yesterday.

I played Sonic Colors.

In short, it was mindblowing.

I knew you'd like it. When I saw the walkthrough, it blew my mind, too. Didja beat it yet?

happy late valentines day

Same to you.

No because getting the S rank is hard. And plus I play when my parents aren't home (note the date I first played).

That game is absolutely worth every cent of my hard-earned money I used to buy it. And I'm saying that when I only got through half way. I'm yet to see what the 2nd half has to offer.

They also put too many levels, which is great and the music is amazing.

Oh.

Too many levels? I seem to remember a certain someone complainin about that. ;)

I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know, right?! :D

Who is this someone exactly?

A certain someone with the initials "S.M.B.S.".

Oh, wait. Damn it! So much for innuendo. >__<

I never complained about too many levels.

I complained about the shortness of the levels, which is an invalid complaint. 3 acts are as long as a Sonic Unleashed day stage (360 version) while the other 3 are short but equally-fun acts.

Oops. My bad. ^_^;

I like how this place is becoming like 2 years ago where nobody except you and I talked here.

I remember. You would always give me these long-ass things to look over (I forget what, tho.).

Time for a new post.

Getting an S rank in Colors is insanely hard.

I would, but I can't get on now. My father's tryin to keep me off; the jerk.

Really? Harder than in Unleashed?

That explains why you didn't deposit yesterday...

Well I can't say yes or no since I haven't played the 360 version of Unleashed. But I will say that you have to grab as many rings as you can and destroy as many enemies as possible. Time bonus is minuscule. BUT to make it harder, Sega put a limit on how much time you can spend before your score is fixed for the rest of the act. So if you cross the said time limit you can't get any more points, not even at the end of the level where you would normally get your time and ring bonuses.

Even with all that said, I think it's safe to say that on average it will take 2 hrs to get an S rank per act.

Yep.

Damn. SEGA made this game WAAAY more challenging than Unleashed. Now I REALLY wish I had a Wii.......

^
I agree. I haven't gotten one S rank on the damn thing. On the other hand the main storyline of the game took me an afternoon's worth to beat. I normally don't care about the ranks too much, though. And I haven't gotten one Chaos Emerald yet, but that's because I really haven't tried to get one.

In other news, I got MvC 3 a week or two ago.

So you haven't gotten to the Sonic Simulator yet, I take it?

Coolz. Either that or Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 will be my next game.

Hey guess what?

My kitchen got caught on fire.

What?! O__O'

^
Well, that sucks. Sorry about that, man.

Also, yeah, I haven't done anything in the Sonic Simulator. At the time I beat the game, I was ill, so I didn't want to bother with getting the emeralds. Just tried to beat the storyline.

MvC 3 and DB:RB 2 are both amazing games. Gameplay-wise and graphics-wise.

AND, I'm so excited for Black and White that I can't stand it! I need it NAO.

It does suck. Hope he's alright.

Can you do the simulator now?

I've seen some impressive stuff for MVC3. I hope I can get it soon.

Same here. 3 days need to hurreh! X3

Also, I cleared my inbox a little. Sorry about that.

Yeah, I was wonderi about that. It's alright.

Lesson #1: Don't leave a pot of oil unattended over a burner, regardless if it's over low heat, high heat or even off. You would be surprised on how much shit could happen.

Lesson #2: Don't pour a bucket of water over burning oil (throw a plate over the pot and water the rest of the area), and don't throw paper towels in an attempt to put out a fire.

So that's how it happened? Man......

If it's oil fire, buckets of water wouldn't be enough. Oil fire is more dangerous than normal fire.
