I can take a crash after a sugar rush if it happens after the test.

Besides, when I took the June SAT (the one I scored best on), I collapsed at Section 5, because I had headaches and other distractions. If I had enough energy, I would have zipped straight through with full concentration. But no I probably did ass on the rest of the test.

My mom actually revised her offer. If I get 2200 SAT I can get anything worth up to $500. So I can probably attempt to get a 64 GB iPod (worth $400). Most of the 64 GB will be used for videos (since HD is a space-eater), while only like 6 will be used for music.

My dad said that if I get a 2300 he'll buy me a car. I mean WTF? I don't need a car (and he'll get an expensive one too). I'd rather go to college and graduate debt-free rather than having a car and being under $100,000+ in debt. Besides, if I go to Penn, I don't need a car since I live 10 miles away from it. If I go to Pittsburgh to Carnegie Mellon (which is my best shot), they give out free airport and bus passes so I still won't need a car. Besides, I'm positive I'm not getting 2300 unless I'm granted from some holy source the power of knowledge.

I thought it was a lame excuse for a bad SAT score. Besides, what you get is what you get regardless of any means used to get it.

I dunno. Probably nothing since HD videos are heavy in file size. Hell I bet if I took a 10 minutes HD video my internet connection would take 60 minutes to upload it.

WHAT is correct. Instead of a measly 8 GB iPod, I can get a 64 GB iPod. Actually she said she'll give $500 cash or any items up to $500 in value, but since my parents have to pay for tuition fees next year, I mind as well only use $400 of it and leave the other $100 alone. Or I could get a 32 GB USB drive for the $100.

Actually he was serious about the car. And my mom also agreed to that too. But even so, I refuse to accept that offer. I could use $50,000 to get other things, and even those things won't even exceed $5,000. Even so, 2300 is out of my league, so I'm not expecting a car anytime soon.

FYI, instead of a car, I think it's better to save it for a down payment for a new house. I can handle sucky cars - I can't handle sucky houses.

Well you're assuming that I'll get a 2300 on the SAT. Remember, there's NO way in hell I'm getting a 2300.

Oh, and my mom lowered the expectation score from 2200 to 2150 now. That's a relief. 2150 is much easier to hit than 2200.

The only way 2300 is possible is if I make educated guesses on the questions I don't know and get them right.

Oh and also the essay is a problem too.

Besides, with $500 I will be happy. I'll invest in a 64 GB iPod and a fat ass USB drive.

BTW when aiming for a score always aim higher than that. Unlucky guesses and stupid mistakes will lower your score, so you need some safety net to fall back on. So I have to aim for 2300 if I want a 2150. So the extra 150 points is to counter the penalties of wrong answers.

One of the books my parents bought had bad answer explanations. It only explained why one of the answers is correct. It didn't explain why the other choices were wrong, so I never figured out why it was wrong.

My test prep tests explains why the other 4 choices are wrong, which is REALLY useful. Now I know which answers are what I call the "Dumbass" answers, which are answers that are so stupid that you either (A) didn't understand the passage or (B) didn't even read it (I actually laugh at them and say to myself "Which idiot would pick this choice?").

My dad now changed the deal. If I get into a good college (he has high standards), or get a 2300 on the SAT, then he'll get me an iPhone 5, COMPLETE with Internet and phone plan (entirely free). And I can take it wherever I go - no handicaps to it (like they do to my GC controller).

The iPod 4 now looks like shit in comparison to iPhone 5.

The only downside is I have to wait until April until the acceptance/rejection letters come. And if I don't go to a good college but get 2150 SAT, I can claim an iPod still, so it's not all bad news.

And no I can't claim both prizes. If I do, I'd be stuck with a fat phone bill every month.

So what... I don't take too many videos. And ever since I ditched the guide my need for internet went down to nearly 0.

Besides, if I get 2300 by some wild ass chance, I'll get it a lot sooner. And if I fall to 2150, I can still claim an iPod (after I get rejection letters).

My parents actually bought a 2400 book... I had to follow all that advice as if my life depended on it. I NEED THAT FUCKING IPHONE.
