Good ta see you 'round my post again.

Lol; nice track.

I'm feeling 8-bit-ish. i'm also in the mood to record but that will have to wait until NEXT WEEK. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. On the BRIGHT SIDE: http://icefire23.newgrounds.com/news/
post/615384

Never really could get into 8-Bit stuff for some reason.

Are you serious? o_o'

Technically 8 bit game systems only had 1 bit music. I assume 16 bit systems had about 2-4 bit.

There was a system that had 8 bit sound though. Ever heard of the PS1?

Really? I've never really known any of that. You sure know your stuff, chillbro.

What's your favorite song from the original Sonic games(Sonic 1, Sonic CD, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic and Knuckles)? Mine is the final boss theme from Sonic 3(Also plays in Sonic and Knuckles when Knuckles fights normal Mecha Sonic and during the Great Eggman Robo boss in Death Egg Zone).

Ever notice in Sonic 3 and Knuckles they cut out the original final boss from Sonic 3 for Sonic and Tails? Knuckles still fought it, but he doesn't fight the first boss from Launch Base Zone Act 2).

I'd hafta say.......Lava Reef Zone.

I guess since he was once workin with Eggman, they changed his story.

Also, here's a little error for you to notice if you have Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. On the back of the box it shows a few screenshots from a couple games like Streets Of Rage and says the title of that game underneath. One of them was a Sonic game, and it said Sonic The Hedgehog 2 underneath it. That screenshot was actually from Sonic 3, not 2.

I just checked my copy, and you're right. Weird that I haven't noticed.......

Sorry to be off-topic, but regarding the war, you'll also have to be the resource manager as well as the financial manager.

The calculator will make managing resources very simple, so don't panic. You'll have to just plug in 5-7 additional numbers into the calculator, and along with the cash after expenses have been paid, the remaining amount of resources after it was deducted to build the items will be next to the cash number.

So instead of reporting 3 numbers, you'll report about 20. But again, the calculator will make the job very easy.

I'll tax all the players such that they have to provide all the necessary information (like the amount of cash they have, and their island's resources). Your job should be just plugging in the numbers into the calculator and reporting the results back.

Lastly, the war will be held in my forum. So if you want, you can register for an account to my forum and post the results yourself, since I will own the whole "battlefield". If, however, you still prefer sending me the numbers, I will still post them on your behalf.

More work? Gah........ -__-'

I guess I can do that. Glad I'm good in Math. The calculator should help greatly, tho.

Thanks, but I'll just send em.

I love all the songs from Sonic CD. I like the songs from Sonic 2 & 3 as well. Sonic 1's tracks were not that great. At least, when compared to Sonic CD.

My iPhone (without the SIM card - I already told you about that) has Sonic 2 & 3 tracks in it. The stupid phone limits only 10 albums (so, in our words, 10 games' worth of music), so Sonic 2 & 3 made it into the 10 albums.

Green Hill is always good.

Only 10? That wouldn't even fit 1/2 of my game tracks.

My other favorites are the Doomsday Zone, Wing Fortress Zone, and the drowning music.

Also a fan of the Hidden Palace Zone.

You seriously like the drowning sound?

That's the saddest track ever.

It's also the funniest. XD

Oh and I REALLY love the high-speed-shoe track in Sonic CD.

Same here. Like walkin on air. :D

Interesting note: While it should be Egg Robo in the final Flying Battery boss for Knuckles, it was actually Robotnik himself with no explanation.

I remember that.

^

Where the fuck do you get all this information from?

Unless you scrutinized the game very carefully (and by carefully I mean inspecting every damn frame of the game) there's no way you can get all this info.

I wonder this, too. He always has a fun fact for us.

When you get a job, try to do good and not let anyone take it...

They dook mah derb! DX

Is your user page like dying?

Because I don't see much activity here. Usually every day I see 8 new comments from the night I got off from the previous day.

(If that above sentence made any sense whatsoever.)

I dunno. Feels that way.........

Top 10 Sonic games? My opinion is
10. Sonic Heroes
9. Sonic Adventure
8. Sonic Unleashed
7. Sonic Rush
6. Sonic Advance 3
5. Sonic The Hedgehog
4. Sonic The Hedgehog 2
3. Sonic Adventure 2
2. Sonic CD
1. Sonic 3 & Knuckles

Nice list.

But Sonic 06 is so awesome it gets the place of number 1... on the list of worst Sonic games...

Lolz. A reverse compliment. XD

Guess what?

My college essay for admissions to college is going to be about this war I'm planning with Spain and Basset.

You, Basset, Spain and TurtleKirby101, along with some others, are in it.

On the opposite end, none of my family is in it.

You can't be serious! O__O'

I'm dead serious. I already have all of your real names anyway, plus I have put down a plan anyway, so it's a matter of writing it and sending it to Basset for proofreading.

I can't believe you actually did that. o_o'

What was the question for that essay, anyway?

Im gonna nitpick and say that the Scott Pilgrim is "Pseudo 8 bit" and not 16 bit.

It isnt real 8 bit because Anamanaguchi snuck guitars in every song

Of course they did. The hacked SNES wasn't their only insrument.

There is none. The colleges accept the Common Application, which allows you to write whatever the fuck you want. So i write about this. The only restriction is it be appropriate (no sex, violence, or that shit) and no swearing.

Also, for chat, I recommend we ditch the Ustream chat and that we all get Gmail accounts.

- When somebody is on, we can see if they are on instead of sending a message and waiting 900 minutes for them to get on, and then you miss them, and BLAH too much crap

- If you don't want to use Gmail, download and install Gtalk. You still will have to create a Gmail address, but at least the email interface won't take up a whole window, and you can move the Gtalk

- Group chat is supported like on Ustream, so it's possible for all 5 of us to get on

- The chat saves the discussion to Gmail so that if something important or funny was said/occurred, we won't lose it like we do in Ustream

- Not compulsory to get on the chat - get on whenever you feel like chatting

- Use the Gmail account for other things, like store files, write important reminders, etc.

- No ILBC to fuck up the chat, whereas the Ustream chat is exposed to everyone

- Can immediately chat when someone is available

- ...and more

The Gmail chat is built FOR chatting purposes, so it's meant to be used for discussions. The Ustream chat is built as a side-discussion for the stream.

Basset, Spain and I use it often instead on Ustream. In fact, Spain and I accomplished an unbelievable amount of war progress. We can also exchange addresses and get everyone together... if everyone is on that is.

So what do you think? If you like this idea, register for a Gmail account just for chat and send your address to me via PM. If you want to chat with Spain more often, he gets on Gmail a lot.

I'm going to ask chillbro to sign up, since he wants me on the chat, but I always miss him, and I'm always on Gmail.

I see. A random essay? Kinda seems "wide" for me.

Yeah, that's better. I'll sign up now.
